Verity was a Wellcome Trust-funded DPhil student in the Seiradake lab from October 2014 - December 2017. Her work was focused on the adhesion GPCR Latrophilin and its ligands in the nervous system. Verity solved a number of structures by X-ray crystallography, and analysed receptor functions using microscopy and cell biology. Her main results are sumarised in three first author papers (Jackson et al. Structure 2015, Jackson et al. Nature Commun 2016, Jackson et al. Nature Commun 2018) with some more results in preparation. Verity is now a postdoc in the lab of Liz Miller at the MRC-LMB in Cambridge, and a recipient of a prestigious postdoctoral research fellowship from the Royal Commission.
