Fina joined the Seiradake lab in February 2020 as a postdoctoral research associate where she held a prestigious Browne Research Fellowship at Queen's College, Oxford. Her project aimed to understand the intricate structure of teneurins, with a paper about to come out. Previously, Fina was a PhD student at the French national institute of health and medical research (INSERM, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, France) where she carried out structural and functional studies related to ribosome maturation in eukaryotes and obtained her diploma in 2019 from the University of Bordeaux, France.
Prior to this, she completed both her B.Sc and M.Sc degrees in life science from the University of Strasbourg, France. During her master, she participated in the nuclear receptors project and performed some biophysical and biochemical studies at the Institute of Genetics and Molecular and Cellular Biology (IGBMC, Illkirch-Graffenstaden, France).
